HDh. judicial district’s chief magistrate under investigation for misconduct

Judicial Service Commission (JSC) has opened an investigation against HDh. Atoll judicial district’s chief magistrate Ali Adam for possible misconduct.

According to JSC, the investigation was opened following a complaint lodged against Ali Adam regarding his actions in connection to a motion for a protection order in a domestic violence case.

JSC made the decision to investigate Ali Adam on January 18.
