Young man injured in shark attack off Kulhudhuffushi

A young man from Kulhudhuffushi sustained horrific injuries on Saturday, in a shark attack in the waters off the northern city. Kulhudhuffushi City’s mayor Mohamed Athif identified the injured man as a 30-year-old native of Kulhudhuffushi. According to Athif, the man got attacked by a shark while snorkeling to catch fish.
