Velana Airport initiates planned one-hour power shutdown

Maldives Airport Company Limited (MACL) has announced a planned one-hour power shutdown at the Velana International Airport on Tuesday.

The power shutdown will last from 05:00 pm to 06:00 pm from all premises of the airport.

MACL states the power shutdown is to carry out final power synchronizing activity with the State Electric Company (STELCO) to connect to the greater Male’ power network grid.
