MTCC contracted to build airport in Faresmaathoda

Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has been awarded a MVR 144.9 million project to develop an airport in G. Dh. Atoll.

The contract was signed by MTCC’s Managing Director Adam Azim and Director General of Planning Ministry Fathimath Shana Farooq on Tuesday.

Under the terms of the contract, MTCC is required to complete the project in 600 days.

The project will entail building a 1,200-meter runway, a terminal in reclaimed land, and additional facilities.
