1 injured in accident on highway

A woman has been injured after an accident on the Male’-Hulhumale’ highway this afternoon. 

Police said the reports of the accident were received around 13:35. The accident happened when the motorcycle collided with a crane carrying out maintenance work on the highway. 

The woman suffered muscular injuries to the arm and is now receiving treatment at the Hulhumale’ Hospital. 

Police are now looking into the incident.
