MNDF advises caution to travelers over capsized boat

MNDF has warned sea goers to stay alert over a capsized boat that is drifting with the current out at sea.

The boat is 60 feet in length and is drifting in the current half-submerged between the waters of Paradise Island Resort and Huhumale’. The boat is drifting outwards east towards the sea.

Part of the boat’s structure is still visible above the water.

Travelers in the area are advised to remain alert over the drifting boat. MNDF warned that travelers at night are to take extra caution.
