National Emergency Operations Center (NEOC) has announced that delivery services are to be halted starting from 22:00 tomorrow.

As the Maldives enters the second phase of lockdown easements, the public movement will be eased with civilians no longer requiring permits to go outdoors. Civilians would be allowed outdoors from 5:00 to 22:00.

Delivery services were previously allowed up until 23:00. Shops will also be reopened starting from tomorrow and will be permitted to operate until 21:00.

Authorities still advise exercising caution and request the public to wear masks and use sanitizers as well as to practice hand hygiene as much as possible.
