Abu Bakr Abdul Kareem appointed as a Deputy Health Minister

President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih, on Sunday, appointed Abu Bakr Abdul Kareem as Deputy Minister to Ministry of Health.

According to the President’s Office, Abu Bakr most recently served as a Director of the Juvenile Justice Unit at Ministry of Home Affairs, and also served as a Director at Ministry of Gender, Family and Social Services.

He is currently enrolled in Diploma in Office Management, and previously completed Advance Certificate in Community Health.

Abdu Bakr joins the ranks of two more Deputy Ministers at the Ministry of Health; Shiyama Mohamed and Nishama Mohamed.
