Maldives has 3,907 nurses, but only 314 of them male

According to statistics released by the Health Ministry, a total of 3,907 nurses are currently working in the Maldives, including 314 male nurses. The statistics, shared by the Ministry in observance of International Nurses Day, revealed that of the 3,907 nurses working across healthcare facilities nationwide, 1,989 are based in the Greater Malé Area, while 1,918 are serving across the atolls. The
