Neighborhood Support resolves 27 traffic issues in first week of March

Neighborhood Support Officers of Maldives Police Service resolved 27 traffic issues in the Greater Male’ Area in the first week of March, reports MPS.

Statistics of the work of NSO from March 1-7 was released by MPS this Sunday.

It shows the NSO resolved 27 traffic issues during the period; 19 traffic issues in Male City and nine traffic issues in Hulhumale’.

18 construction issues were resolved by NSO during the period; 16 issues in construction sites in Male’ City and two issues in construction sites in Hulhumale’.

The NSO also attended to four immigration related issues in Male’ City.

NSO conducted searches on 178 areas; 107 in Male’ City, 51 in Hulhumale’ and 20 in Vilimale’.

The Greater Male’ Area has been divided into eight districts; four districts of Male’ City, three districts of Hulhumale, and Vilimale’. Specific officers from NSO are assigned to each of the districts and charged with attending to public complaints.
