Maizan Ahmed Manik has launched a new institute to train youth in robotics and emerging technologies, opening the Maizan Institute of Innovation and Technology (MIIT) on Thursday.
The facility was inaugurated by MNU Chancellor Dr Mahmood Shaugee at a ceremony held on Thursday.
Speaking at the event, founder Maizan Ahmed Manik said the institute aims to deliver practical, hands-on training using robotic kits across multiple technology disciplines. He noted that engineering and mathematical techniques will be central to the courses, with the broader goal of nurturing a generation capable of developing new technologies. More than business profit, he said, the priority is to build a sustainable pipeline of young innovators. He added that the institute hopes to drive wide-ranging technical advancement in collaboration with MNU.
