The Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) will again be hosting Eid celebrations in the Greater Male' Region, with a three‑day programme titled “Eid Haveeru 1447.”
The event will be held in collaboration with 10 state‑owned enterprises, alongside MNDF and Maldives Police Service.
Eid Haveeru 1447 activities will take place from 27–29 May at Sultan Park, the Shaheed Adam Hussain Building area, Republic Square, and the President’s Jetty area.
According to MNDF, activities will include water fountains, foam bath pools, rappelling, and various interactive displays.
There will also be an exhibition of army uniforms, weapons, and vehicles used in MNDF operations, with opportunities for the public to take photos.
On the third day of Eid, the MNDF Arts and Ceremonial Service will stage special performances.

In Hulhumale', events will be held at Central Park and Hiyaa Park (Phase II).
Central Park will feature water slides and a foam bath pool, while Hiyaa Park will host fire equipment demonstrations and table‑ladder climbing.
In Vilimale', activities will run for four days, from 27–30 May, at the Vilimale' Football Stadium, including rappelling, obstacle courses, and children’s sports.
All Eid Haveeru activities will be held daily from 16:00 to 18:00.
The 10 SOEs taking part are: STELCO, MWSC, WAMCO, MPL, MTCC, MACL, MIFCO, RDC, HDC, and FDC.
Canteen services will also be available at all venues.
Last year’s Eid festival was also celebrated in a colourful and festive manner.
