15-year-old girl reported missing from Hulhumale’ Phase II

Maldives Police Service states a search operation is currently underway after a 15-year-old girl was reported missing from Hulhumalé Phase II.

The missing girl has been identified as Aishath Alya Ali, 15, who currently resides at Flat No. 05-3-2, Hiyaa Tower 16.

The Police, citing her family, said Alya was last seen leaving her home at approximately 16:15pm on Tuesday evening. She was wearing a white striped crop top, light blue jeans, and a black shawl.

The family reported her missing to the Police late Tuesday night. Upon receiving the report, the Police said they promptly notified the relevant units and initiated a search operation. However, as of present, she has not yet been located.

The Police have urgged anyone with information regarding her whereabouts to contact the Hulhumalé Serious Crime Investigation Unit at 9113900.
