Ahmed Mubeen has been appointed as the deputy managing director of Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC).
MTCC confirmed the appointment in a post on X on Sunday afternoon, in which the company extended a warm welcome to him.
“We trust that your leadership and strategic vision will drive us to new heights of success,” added the company in the post.

Mubeen had previously served as the managing director of Regional Airports Company Limited (RACL. He resigned from the post in July last year, after the government decided to merge the company into Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL).
His appointment to MTCC is part of multiple changes to the senior management of state-owned enterprises following the ruling People’s National Congress (PNC)’s defeat in the local council elections and referendum back in April.
