Maldives Development Alliance (MDA) President Ahmed Siyam Mohamed has urged voters to elect the party’s candidates with “100 percent votes”, saying they will not discriminate against any citizen.

Speaking at a campaign rally in Dh. Hulhudheli on Thursday, Siyam said MDA candidates would serve all residents equally, regardless of political affiliation.

“For twenty‑four, thirty years, I have been with you. I have stood by you. I have not lied to you in these thirty years. There has been no cheating. If I give my word, it will not be broken. A promise is fulfilled, gold to gold,” Siyam said.

He added that anyone who enters politics as a servant of the people must ensure their actions match their words. Siyam said he personally guarantees that MDA candidates will not discriminate against any citizen.

Siyam urged island residents to fully support the party’s candidates contesting the Hulhudheli council seats and elect them with overwhelming support. His speech focused on sincerity, compassion, and serving the public without bias.
