Woman injured in two‑motorcycle accident on Sinamale' Bridge highway

A woman was injured in an accident on the Sinamale' Bridge highway on Thursday evening.

Police said the accident involved two motorcycles. The injured woman was taken to Hulhumale' Hospital, where authorities confirmed that her injuries were not serious.

Police are investigating the incident.

According to police statistics, 1,325 cases have been reported so far this year, the majority of them related to traffic incidents. A total of 380 accidents have been recorded.

Several dangerous accidents have occurred in Male' City and on the Sinamale' Bridge in recent years, with some resulting in permanent injuries.
