Over 300 pilgrims depart to Saudi Arabia for umrah

Over 300 Maldivian pilgrims under the charge of the Maldives Hajj Corporation have departed to Saudi Arabia to perform the hajj pilgrimage in the last 15 days of Ramadan. Hajj Corporation’s managing director Mohamed Shakeel told Sun that 364 pilgrims left on a flight to Saudi Arabia on early Saturday. They will perform their first umrah pilgrimage today, he said. Shakeel said Hajj
