Govt. condemn attack on the residence of UAE Ambassador

Maldivian government has strongly condemned the attack targeting the residence of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Ambassador in Khartoum, the capital of Sudan.  Foreign Ministry, in a statement on Monday, emphasized that targeting diplomatic facilities was a blatant violation of the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations and international laws on diplomatic immunity.  The government also reaffirmed the necessity of upholding the inviolability of diplomatic premises,
