Strong internal audits are crucial for local councils to operate well, says Local Government Minister Adam Shareef Umar. He made the remark on Tuesday morning at the opening of the Local Councils Internal Audit Conference – held by the Local Government Authority (LGA) in collaboration with the Internal Audit Association of Maldives (IAA). Addressing the conference, Adam Shareef stressed the need for
