Customs intercepts MVR 2.4M worth of cannabis

Maldives Customs Service has intercepted a cannabis package worth around MVR 2.4 million from the Velana International Airport (VIA). Customs said that three kilos of cannabis leaves were seized from the VIA on Saturday.
