The Hawks, a leading private oil and logistics service provider in the Maldives, has announced a significant expansion of its fleet with the addition of 'Liberty,' a 25.4 metric-tonne capacity oil tanker.
This vessel marks a notable milestone as the largest oil tanker ever operated by a private company in the nation.
Hawks emphasized that this development shows its commitment to meeting the country's growing oil demands. The introduction of 'Liberty' is expected to substantially enhance the company's capability to deliver sufficient fuel to its extensive customer base.
Furthermore, Hawks anticipates that the new tanker will foster increased customer trust and attract greater attention from international markets.
Established 18 years ago in 2007, Hawks has grown to operate a substantial network that includes 11 oil tankers, 15 barges, 20 bowsers, and 15 fuel sheds strategically located across the country.
