Hawks celebrates Teachers’ Day by gifting Smart Refueling Vouchers to teachers across Maldives

The Hawks Pvt Ltd has issued Smart Refueling Vouchers to teachers working across the Maldives. Vouchers were delivered to teachers in schools in the Male' area as well as in atoll schools.

The Hawks said the initiative was carried out to celebrate this year’s Teachers’ Day and to thank teachers for their sacrifices in educating children. The company praised the hard work of teachers in instilling good qualities in students and brightening the future of the country. It added that the encouragement and guidance teachers provide outside the classroom also has a positive impact on the nation as a whole.

The company further noted the important role teachers play in helping students achieve their aspirations.

The vouchers can be used through the HawksPlus application, a digital platform designed to provide easy access to refueling services. Through the app, customers can register, deposit money and pay for fuel without cash. Customers can also earn discounts on future refueling by accumulating points earned with each purchase. The application additionally allows users to view fuel prices instantly, locate nearby stations and make advance bookings for refueling.

Established in 2007, The Hawks is one of the largest oil companies in the Maldives. The company currently operates 22 fuel stations across the country.
