Maalhos man dies following brutal attack while sleeping

An elderly man from AA. Maalhos died on early Sunday, following a brutal assault while he was sleeping in his home.

The police identified the deceased as Abdul Rahman Adam, 65, Orchidmaage, AA. Maalhos.

According to a police spokesperson, the police received a report at 01:50 am on Sunday regarding a man being taken to the local health center after being inflicted “serious injuries” while he was sleeping in his home.

Abdul Rahman succumbed to his injuries at dawn.

The details of the incident are unclear at this point.

A special investigation team has been deployed from the capital to Maalhos to investigate the case.
