Ahmed Muhjaahidh has been appointed the principal of Majeedhiyya School.
The school’s Spokesperson confirmed Mujaahidh’s appointment to Sun, adding he officially assumed his responsibilities as of Tuesday.
His appointment as Majeedhiyya School’s principal comes following the retirement of Aishath Mohamed Solih, who had held the post for 15 years, in January.
Notably, Mujahidh served as the Deputy Minister at the Economic Ministry during former president Ibrahim Mohamed Solih’s administration.
Mujahidh has extensive experience in the field of education. He holds a Master's in Education from Malaysia’s Open University. He has previously served as the principal of Imaadhudhin School and, prior to that, as a leading teacher and deputy principal at Iskandar School. Additionally, Mujahidh worked as a lecturer at the Maldives National University (MNU).
