Dhiraagu has made a donation to the Knowledge Centre in Kulhudhuffushi City.
Knowledge Centre in Kulhudhuffushi City opened by Kulhudhuffushi City Council was established along with a public library and wellness centre, aims to serve as a community hub, providing a space to foster learning, growth and community engagement.
Dhiraagu, as part of its commitment to empower communities under its Corporate Responsibility (CSR) program, contributed computer systems, video conference devices and a collection of books to the public library at the Knowledge Centre.
As per Dhiraagu, these resources are aimed at enhancing accessibility to technology and inspiring a love for learning, nurturing a culture of knowledge sharing and digital literacy.
Dhiraagu’s Corporate Social Responsibility Manager Bishara Hameed said the company, by providing digital tools and educational resources, hopes to empower the community further and foster sustainable growth.
“We are happy to support the Knowledge Centre, which will be a vital hub for learning and community engagement in Kulhudhuffushi City. By providing digital tools and educational resources, we hope to empower the community further and foster sustainable growth,” she said.
Apart from the aforementioned contributions, Dhiraagu team also volunteered at the Knowledge Centre, where they helped plant 100 trees at the centre, to help create a greener and more inviting environment for the community.
The telecom company affirmed its commitment to support initiatives that strengthen the communities as it seeks to enrich the lives of people across the Maldives.
