Registrations opened Dhiraagu Maldives Road Race 2026

Registrations are currently underway for this year's Dhiraagu Maldives Road Race (DMMR).

The event is scheduled to take place on November 20th at Hulhumalé Central Park. Participation is limited to 4,000 runners, and registration will remain open until this quota is reached.

Participants can register for the 10km and 5km Open categories, as well as the Team category. New categories introduced this year include Corporate Teams, Resort Teams, Running Clubs, and College/University categories.

Each team category allows participation for groups of four runners. Registrations for these categories must be managed by a designated team leader. Dhiraagu has announced that a champion team will be selected from each category.

According to Dhiraagu, participants may choose to register for either the 5km Open category or the 5km Team category, but not both.

A total prize pool of MVR 296,000 has been designated for the winners across various categories of the race.

Every registered participant will receive a race kit, which includes a specially designed T-shirt, a race bib, a bag, and a finisher's medal.
