Fire breaks out at Euro Store warehouse in Male’

A fire broke at a Euro Store warehouse in Male’ on Thursday afternoon, resulting in damages.

According to the Maldives National Defense Force (MNDF), the fire originated from an electrical board in the warehouse, located in on the third floor of Oliveeniage, in the Machangolhi district of Male’.

The fire was put out by firefighters from the MNDF Fire and Rescue.

There were no immediate reports of any injuries.

Photos shared by the MNDF show the fire resulted in damages to the merchandise stored in the warehouse, as well as the ceiling and walls of the property.
