The Ministry of Education has facilitated opportunities for the students of I'zzudhdheen School to relocate to other schools.
The ministry announced this in light of significant damages to I'zzudhdheen School's infrastructure, making it an unfavorable environment for students.
The ministry has formally decided to shift the school's students to Dharumavantha School, which sits opposite of I'zzudhdheen.
Besides affirming admission slots being made available for I'zzudhdheen students, the ministry also said parents who wish to transfer their children to other schools can do so as well.
The ministry, while speaking with 'Sun', said that the window to relocate the school's students has been officially opened as of Sunday, July 28th.
Parents can request for school change via the ministry's "Admission Portal" now.
Besides the ministry, the school's management has also confirmed the relocation window is now open.
The entire building of I'zzudhdheen School is covered with cracks running the entire length of the slabs and pillars. The ministry, last month, conducted an assessment to verify if the premises was safe for students to attend for their studies.
The school is run on the same premises that previously housed the Male's English School (MES) some thirty years ago.
