Expat found dead in water at Addu Feydhoo

An expatriate, who had gone to dispose garbage, was found dead in the sea in Addu City Feydhoo.

Maldives Police Service confirms receiving the report around 09:40hrs on Wednesday morning.

Though police confirmed the individual was a foreign national, they had not provided further details about the individual's identity.

Feydhoo Health Center confirmed the individual has been dead when they were brought in.

Police is now investigating the case.
