Search underway for missing 18-year-old from Male’

A search has been launched for an 18-year-old youth reported missing from Male’ City.

Police, via a post on X, identified the missing youth as Hussain Zihan, 18, H. Blue Scoop.

According to the Police, he was reported missing by his family after failing to get in contact with him. Citing his family, Police said he was last seen on Friday, at his residence.

Police have requested anyone with information regarding Zihan to contact their hotline at 3322111 or Henveiru Police Station at 9400053.

Two young girls and a 24-year-old were reported missing last week.

They included a 14-year-old from Male’ City, who was found safe and an eight-year-old from GDh. Fiyoari who was found unconscious inside a vacant house near her home. Tests were conducted on the girl which established she had not been harmed.

Meanwhile, the Police have not announced any updates regarding 24-year-old Ahmed Iyash Waseem who was reported missing from Fuvahmulah City.
