Missing 25-year-old girl in good condition, says Police

Police have confirmed that Maryam Maaee Jameel, 25, from Gulzaaruge, L. Mundoo, who was reported missing earlier this week, has been found.

Maaee, who lives in Male' City, was reported missing by her family early Tuesday morning after she failed to return home. Police launched a search and issued a public notice requesting assistance in locating her.

According to Police, Maaee contacted the Henveiru Police Station herself on Saturday and later appeared at the station. Officers said she is in good condition, and that the case remains under investigation as they work to establish the circumstances surrounding her disappearance and return.

Missing-person notices are occasionally issued in Male', often prompting swift public attention. In most cases, individuals are located soon after the information is released, with Police emphasizing the importance of timely reporting and community cooperation in such incidents.

Authorities have not disclosed further details at this stage.
