Autopsy to be conducted on body discovered inside Bandeyri Koshi apartment

Police have decided to conduct an autopsy on the dead body discovered inside an apartment in Bandeyri Koshi, a housing unit in Male’ City for military personnel, on Monday evening.

Police Spokesperson Ahmed Shifan, in a message to media, said the authority has decided to move forward with an autopsy in the investigation into the deceased person, who was earlier identified by the authority as a 30-year-old Maldivian man.

The Police did not disclose any further details regarding the deceased person. However, they confirmed that the apartment where the body was discovered is not currently in use.
