Technical issue which obstructed check-in at VIA resolved

Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL) states the technical issue that obstructed check-in at Velana International Airport (VIA) has now been resolved.

MACL, the operator of VIA, announced that a technical difficulty may cause some delays in international and domestic flight check-ins at the airport via a post on X on Friday morning,

In a later post on X Friday afternoon, MACL confirmed that the issue had been resolved.

The issue arose amid peak tourism season as well as amid increased travel by locals, both domestically and internationally, in conjunction with the school holidays.
