Police seek to find a witness to accident injuring elderly man

Police have made a public announcement on Tuesday seeking to find anyone who witnessed an accident that took place in Addu City’s Hithadhoo district.

The accident took place at approximately 4:28pm on December 11^th at the intersection between Medheaari Magu and Sharafudheen Magu in Hithadhoo. It involved a crash between a car and a motorbike.

The victim injured in the accident was the driver of the motorbike; an 83-year-old man. He is undergoing treatment at ADK Hospital, in capital Male’ City.

Police have asked anyone who witnessed the incident to contact Hithadhoo Police Station at 9791612.
