Elderly man assaulted and robbed in Hanimadhoo

An elderly man was assaulted and robbed of money in HDh. Hanimaadhoo

Police said the 63-year-old man was attacked and robbed at 11:45 pm at his home. The man is said to be a person with special needs.

Police aslo said that the injured 63-year-old man is being treated at the Kulhudhuffushi Hospital.

They also said that a 25-year-old has been arrested in connection to this case.

The injured man's identity is yet to be released.

While an elderly man was attacked and robbed in Hanimaadhoo last night, an 81-year-old man was also tied up and robbed in Maradhoo, Addu. A 50-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident.
