Missing man found safe in Male’

A young man reported missing from Male’ City earlier this week has been found safe.

Ali Athif Saafy, 30, Dhilkashvilla, Dh. Kudahuvadhoo, was reported missing to the Kudahuvadhoo Police Station by his family on Monday.

According to the police, his family had last heard from him on Friday, May 12.

Police said released his picture, seeking the public’s help in locating him, on Wednesday.

Three hours after making the public announcement, police said Athif has been found safe from Male’.

The police did not disclose any further details.
