Applications for the competition, which children can participate in from the comfort of their own homes, was opened last Thursday.

Haifa said the competition has been receiving huge support. She said she hopes to see a lot of children from the atolls participate in the competition.

“We are receiving huge support for the Haggul Yageen Quran Competition. Thousands of children across Maldives are expressing interest in participating in the competition,” she said.

Haifa said she is confident the competition will turn out to be success.

She believes the competition offers a golden opportunity for children in the atolls who recite Quran beautifully.
