Islamic Minister states 39 foreigners converted to Islam in the Maldives over the past eight months. The statistics were disclosed during the Ministry’s Media Exhibition 2024 aimed at showcasing the Ministry’s undertakings to the public. The 39 foreigners who converted to Islam in the past eight months include: Eight from Philippines Five from India Four from Nepal Three from Indonesia, Russia, Italy, Thailand and Sri Lanka
