The team, consisting of consists of two journalists, three bloggers, and one PR representative, arrived in Maldives on a six-day familiarization trip on Monday, at the invitation of Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC/Visit Maldives).

They will be staying at Pullman Maldives Maamutaa, Mercure Maldives Kooddoo, and Reethi Beach Resort.

This includes participation in MATTA 2023, ADEX Ocean Mission 2023, and hosting a Maldives Roadshow in Southeast Asia.

MMPRC conducted 178 marketing activities in 2022, which included over 90 marketing campaigns, 44 fairs, six roadshows, 10 virtual events, 18 familiarization trips, and 10 other events executed worldwide.

Maldives achieved its tourist arrivals target of 1.6 million two weeks before the end of 2022.
