Armed soldiers to be active in Male’ area for training during next two days

Maldives National Defense Force (MNDF), on Tuesday, revealed that joint training with the UK’s Royal Military Police is set to take place in Male’ area.

The training program will be held in Male’ area on Wednesday and Thursday.

MNDF said that soldiers will be active in different areas of Male’, Hulhumale Phase I and Hulhumale’ Phase II as part of this training.

“Soldiers will be armed during these training activities,” they added.

No further details regarding the training have been disclosed by MNDF.
