Special portal launched for DhiraaguTV customers to register for SSNET

DhiraaguTV customers can now conveniently register for SSNET through a special portal.

Following the notice to discontinue DhiraaguTV service, Dhiraagu has arranged a convenient way for existing DhiraaguTV customers to register and opt-in for SSNET service via the portal.

To register, simply follow the steps below:

  1. Press the registration link which has been sent to DhiraaguTV customers via SMS and email. This link will already include the customer’s DhiraaguTV number, and the national ID card/passport/work permit number associated with the account.
  2. Enter customer name, mobile number, and email address.
  3. Upload a copy of national ID card/passport/work permit.

Applications will then be processed and SSNET will get in touch with further details.

After seven years of service, DhiraaguTV service will be discontinued effective January 29.

SSNET, which has license to provide nationwide cable TV service in Maldives, will begin operations on January 30.

Existing DhiraaguTV customers do not need to pay an additional fee for make the switch, and can continue to use their set-top box.

Mohamed Asif (Mondhu), the COO of Sun Siyam Media – which manages SSNET – said the service offers both local channels and popular international channels.
