Maldivian man injured in Sinamale’ Bridge accident dies

A local man injured in an accident at Sinmale’ Bridge on Friday afternoon has passed away.

Police said that the accident took place at approximately 2:30pm this afternoon near the bridge traffic light which saw a collision between a motorbike and a car.

They identified the deceased in the accident as a 54-year-old Maldivian man.

He passed away whilst being treated for injuries at Tree Top Hospital.

Police said that the case is under further investigation.
