The ‘Vunadhaana Festival’, a festival for small and medium enterprises, co-organized by the Business Center Corporation (BCC) and the Economic Ministry is set to held at the Artificial Beach on Wednesday.

The festival will be open from 04:00 pm to 06:00 pm and 08:00 pm to 11:00 pm.

BCC’s Head of Outreach, Ibrahim Ziyau Mohamed said the purpose of the festival is to provide a platform for MSMEs to showcase their products.

“The purpose of this festival is to provide a market for small and medium enterprises and boost exposure among people," he said.

56 businesses based in the greater Male’ area are taking part in the festival.

Ziyau said the evening will see special activities for children, including activities to familiarize children with business.

“We will feature children involved in business. And what they do,” he said.

BCC recently held a festival for home-based businesses. BCC said the festival had received positive feedback, and requests to hold more festivals at a larger scale.
