In the last six months, the students will intern at Indhira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH), ADK Hospital, Senahiya Hospital, Tree Top Hospital and Hulhumale’ Hospital.

The course is accredited by Maldives Qualification Authority (MQA). Students who complete the course will be registered as radiographers with Maldives Allied Health Council.

Radiography is used to diagnose or treat patients by recording images of the internal structure of the body to assess the presence or absence of disease, foreign objects, and structural damage or anomaly.

STO states it hopes to create more local radiographers through the course.
