The Privatization and Corporatization Board (PCB) confirmed Daanish’s resignation to Sun.

However, the specific reason for his resignation has not been disclosed.

Dhaanish is Tourism Minister Mohamed Ameen’s son.

In confirming Dhaanish’s resignation on social media, STO expressed its gratitude for his valuable services and contribution to the company during his tenure.

STO said the process of appointing a new member to fill the vacant board seat will be carried out in accordance with relevant laws and corporate governance principles.
