Suspect in PSM break-in arrested in drug case

The man suspected of involvement in the break-in at Public Service Media (PSM) media center in Hithadhoo district of Addu City has been arrested in a drug case.

A police spokesperson identified the suspect as a 32-year-old Maldivian male.

He was arrested under court order Monday.

The break-in at PSM media center in Hithadhoo took place on Friday afternoon. The thief stole a laptop, printer, and an air conditioning system.

The center reportedly has only one employee, and security is maintained via CCTV camera.

The case is under investigation by police.
