Police: No arrests made over man stabbed in domestic dispute

Maldives Police Service has stated that no arrests have been made so far in connection to a man being stabbed in the neck amidst a domestic dispute.

The man was stabbed in the neck on Monday by a woman.

ADK Hospital confirmed that a man was brought with wounds to the neck at about 03:00 am.

The hospital also said that the patient was transferred to the ward after receiving treatment in the Emergency Room before he was discharged at the family’s request.

Sun has been informed the man was attacked following a verbal dispute at home. However, the relationship between the man and the woman was not immediately clear.

Police stated that they were investigating the case.

When questioned whether any arrests have been made, media officials from Police said no arrests have been made.
