National HR Convention and Expo 2022 to be held in May

Maldives Association of Human Resources Professionals (MAHRP) has announced that National HR Convention and Expo 2022 will be held from May 21 to May 22.

In a press statement released – MAHRP stated that the two-day conference will be held at Maldives National University’s main auditorium. 

The organization confirmed the theme for this year’s edition to be ‘Transformation and Culture – Future of Human Capital’. They detailed that HR best practices and international experiences will be discussed at the conference.

Apart from this, MAHRP said that professionals from foreign countries will be taking part in the conference. In this regard, individuals from Singapore, United Kingdom, India and Sri Lanka will be delivering keynote speeches on four topics.

MAHRP’s President Hussain Afeef underscored that the conference is being held this year after being delayed on three previous occasions over the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Our team is thrilled to bring this event back. I have no doubt that we will receive the support from all organizations across the nation to make this a successful event,” he added.

This year’s conference will see the attendance of 10 international speakers and 20 local speakers as panelists.

Approximately 400 individuals are anticipated to take part in the event by MAHRP – for which registrations have opened. Registrations may be completed and further information regarding the conference can be viewed on MARHP’s website and Facebook page.
