MACL and Parley partner to combat plastic pollution

Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL) and Parley Maldives have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to reduce plastics from the waste stream.

The MoU was signed by MACL’s Managing Director Ibrahim Thoha and Parley Maldives’ Director Shahina Ali on Tuesday.

The MoU pertains to the implementation of Parley’s AIR strategy at the Velana International Airport.

REDESIGN the material itself

MACL states that it aims to remove plastics from the waste stream and eliminate the seep of plastics into the oceans and the environment.
