The first high-class physiotherapy center in the Maldives, ‘Physio Solutions’, has been inaugurated – at which services are expected to commence starting next week.
Physio Solutions was inaugurated by IGMH’s Director of Medical Service, Consultant Orthopedist Dr. Yoosuf Shan at a special ceremony held on last Thursday.
A wide range of physiotherapy services will be available at this center which is located on the second floor of Nalahiya Building in Alikilegefaanu Magu.
Physiotherapy services at this center will be provided by highly educated and experienced professionals.
Physio Solutions’ Founder Abdulla Bagir said that operations at the center have been framed in a way a patient’s therapist will be spending the entirety of their appointment with the patient.
Whilst appointment bookings have opened following the inauguration of Physio Solutions – patients can opt to make their bookings for a convenient date and time and payments through the center’s website and mobile application, said Bagir.
At Physio Solutions, services would be provided by therapists who are experts in areas such as sports recovery, stroke rehabilitation, pediatric physiotherapy, geriatric physiotherapy, neurology and orthopedics.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony of Physio Solutions, Dr. Shan said that he was most interested in touring the premise of the center upon receiving the invitation. He complimented the built of the place – stressing that the consulting rooms were designed in a specialized manner to provide different services. He also underscored that the equipment in place at the center was of the highest branded ones.
Bagir said that although services provided at the center are high-class – its prices will be at the same range as other such centers.
